Yes, there is a new look here. What do you think? This is my first try at creating my own theme for WordPress.
The banner image is from my most recent backpacking trek on the Appalachian Trail.
The theme itself is heavily based on my previous theme “Crimson Sunrise”. I’ve changed some graphics, modified the colors and added a special tab for the Cook Book. I get a lot of hits for my recipes and decided we needed an easier way to get to them than the built in archive system.

I like the look. I simply downloaded a wordpress theme and am using it over at my blog. I’m still too new to be able to mess with the PHP. My site is supposed to have a rotation of 4 different pictures. To get my own pic in there I simply copied mine 4 times and named it the same file name as the others. So, mine is slightly customized, but not really. It’s http://boyandgirlscouts.com if you want to take a look.
You should know there is something not working, though. Underneath your google search box you have a message “SIDEBAR BLOCK” “* Function Not Configured *”. You’ve got a bunch of links and ads so clearly you are using the sidebar. I don’t know what the message means.
